Finisheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed!ish ish

So I finished all that was needed :D
There are a few more things I could add, and I may still do that it just depends if I have the time.
^_^ I have mad a top down map to show where all the models and assets are in the level with perspective views of all the models next to the place they are in the map. I'm really quite happy with the map.

The purple area, if I have time I'd like to cover that and make it inside a dome of some sort as that's where you spawn and I think it would look tidier if it was inside.

I'm happy with my level ^_^

5 level objectives

1. Yellow, enter the land and face the plains with the deserted building because of the enemies hovering around.
2. Green, jump across the floating platforms to get to the end.
3. between green and red, enter the maze and make your way to the gate.
4. Red, the riddle gate. Answer the riddle to pass.
5. Blue, walk right up to the pedestal and collect your prize!
 My gate!! (to the left) That is my built but not fully textured riddle gate. I made a silver texture for the main body of the gate and a gold texture for the stars and rings.

next up, the little houses :3 My tiny little houses. I finished the textures for them. I did a simple blue and red colour scheme for the little houses. Red for the simple ones and blue for the ones with chimneys.

Assets

HOUSES!! little houses for my little village :3 cute cute. I have 2 different houses to place around my open space as shown below. 
I will arrange the houses sort of scattered around the plain just to make it more interesting and to show where the village is. In my game there is enemies in that area all through the village, so there wont be any people.

oook so, I have added in my floating platforms (mentioned in last post) I have textured them and placed them in the scene where they will be. The point to the platforms is to jump across to get to the other side :P aha well I have set them up so you can choose where you wan tot jump, it's not really 1 set path but there are 3 places to enter the maze at the end.  
This here (below) is the stand for the item you'll be collecting at the end. I wanted something simple but effective, so I made a plain stand and just covered it in colour and a simple swirl pattern to make it cute. 

I have a few different gates to make now, they will be my last assets for this scene I think. There is more of a landscape than assets. Oh wait, there will be trees and flowers and cute little plants. I think I might also adjust the colour to be more bright and cartoonie like the floating platforms.

Floating islands

One of my main assets needed for this level are the floating islands. I need a copse different looking islands as to make them not look repeated.
I have so far 2 different models. One small and round island and one long island. 





 The islands are part of the challenge making it hard to get to the end of the level where you collect the item you need.

Now to finishes the other assets. I need plants and trees and I was thinking flowers. 
I need a little stand type thing to have at the end of the level holding up the item there to collect. 
I was thinking about maybe having the start area inside a little hut type room. This would make it more a of a surprise when you enter the world, so the player would enter not knowing what was coming. 
I might make a few enemies just to place them in the world to show where they will go.  
Anyway, back to work. 

Long time no blog

Update on my Unity game, space adventure!
The aliens spawn behind you and follow you. They always move forward and forward is always set to where the player is, so the aliens always more towards the player.
The way the aliens move is rather creepy, it's like a swarm of bugs chasing you.
The player gets 3 lives. The player loses a life every time it collides with the an alien. If the player kills 100 aliens they gain 1 life. This applies for every 100 aliens killed.
I have now completed this game :D horay! ^_^
